Flipping Gems to make fast real cash

I'm sure, this is something already covered many times, I'm here just to explain a little bit more the real procedure.

So, let's assume that we want to make some easy real cash but we don't have any good drop to sell directly on the RMAH neither enough gold to make a worthy auction. Well, we can still make enough money just by investing some euros/dollars.
Alright, what you may not know is that Radiant Stars' price is falling on the RMAH while the gold price looks like more stable, in fact, it seems like it's not going to drop below 20 Millions. Here's the easy trick then, we start by buying a gem (Emeralds are more reliable in my own experience) for real money to turn it in  a gold auction on the Gold Auction House and in a couple of days, we sell the entire gold made with it for real money.

RMAH Price:

Gold Price:

And now, some math: we spent 19.35€ and earned 20.500.000 Millions, minus 15% fee, we have 17.425.000 Millions left. A million is sold at the fixed price of 2.50€, so the raw profit is going to be 43.50€ and after the taxes which takes away 15% plus another 15% of what we have left we got: 43.50 - 6.52 - 5.54 = 31.44€.

And hey! 31.44 - 19.35 = 12.09€ of true profit.

I also know that people (especially on EU servers) are having hard times while trying to sell gold, thats because you're doing it wrong. Like I said in one of my previous posts, you got to be able to post the gold during the night so, it'll be first in queue in the afternoon of the day after and when it is most likely going to be bought.
Although I'm having growing troubles, I end up by selling always a nice portion of the gold everyday.

Auction House search might be finally improved in 1.0.4

Hey, welcome back!

I know you're one of those that have always complained the restrictivity of the Auction House searches, the community demanded some more filters because obviously, everyone comes to a point where 3 helpful stats on an item just won't be enough to be considered as a worthy upgrade.

Guess what? Blizzard might have just heard us, in fact Lylirra (community manager) said the following words:

Thanks for the feedback! We're looking to bump the number of Preferred Stats slots from 3 up to 6. We're also looking to bump the number of digits in the "Min Value" window from 3 to 5 (so you can search for Preferred Stat values higher than "999").
Talking about the darker side now, have you ever thought that this (deserved) update might make the job of the Auction House flipper a bit harder?
I can already see a lot more people trying to find fortunes just by filling those 6 filters and continuously refreshing until the right item to flip shows up, as if we didn't have enough bots already.

Later in the day, Lylirra spent a couple of words about the possibility to cancel auctions if they have no active bids, and said so in response of a player:
We like this solution also. We definitely want to provide players with the option to cancel an auction (at any point after it's posted) so long as it does not have any bids. Right now, we're looking at this for 1.0.4, but that of course may change depending on implementation and testing.
We just have to wait!
1.0.4 may be really what will bring people back to Diablo 3, stay tuned, and never lose your hopes!

How to: Flip Chests and Pants

Hells yeah, I'm finally back!
This is going to be my second article about flipping specific items, if you've lost the first one go check it now: FLIPPING MF HELMS, which is anyway easily reachable just by scrolling below this post.

Alright so, unlike many people keep on saying that the AH is dead, or close to be, I just want to prove them wrong: I flipped 1 Million worth of gear in something above 3 Millions in the same day and I'm here to explain how!
Today's target is going to be Chest Armors and Pants, even because it's really easy to recognize if you're looking at a real deal.

How to flip Chest Armors:

Unfortunately, Diablo 3 comes up with just 3 filters to sort things on the Auction House, and that's why the job of the "flipper" is squite tricky, hopefully with the guidelines below you'll be able to make at least as much profit as I've made yesterday.

Set the filters like this (Dexterity can be any primary stat), hit search and sort the items for their buyout price. It's time to search for some possible underpriced gear: pratically, we want to find a chest with 3 Empty Sockets, also, if there's only Vitality we need it to be over 100, otherwise, in presence of All Resistance, Magic Find or Gold Find, the Vitality can be even lower (never less than 50!). Please, remember to set the max buyout around 200k, deals are always around the 120-170k mark, lowering this filter to 100k will end up by hurting your future income. Once that you've bought the chest, fill the empty sockets with the right gem and you're done, repost it undercutting anyone (even by 200k) to get a fast and reliable sale.

How to flip Pants:

Believe me or not, this is basically the same, except that you need to change the "Has Sockets" value to 2. For the Pants, I usually find great deals around the 25k-75k mark but I anyway love to check even those set for a higher price, as for the Chests, we do need 2 Empty Sockets and always keep in mind the other things  I said.

Final Remarks:

Gear with Dexterity is always more reliable, while everything with Strenght generally needs to be a bit over the average. Intelligence, no matter what, gives always less profit but at least sells as fast as items with Dexterity, don't buy a lot before cashing out already something from the first items you bought, flipping is still risky and you need to have some familiarity with the mechanics before trying to get this business up!
